February 9, 2015

This week has been exciting.  We said goodbye to Elder Budi and Elder Eyre, which was sad.  And Elder Sinaga and Elder Campbell came in to Manado later that night.  Elder Sinaga is my companion, he's from Medan, he's about 5' 7" (maybe, I'm not actually any good at estimating heights) 100 pounds (again, the estimating thing...) he's been a missionary for 6 months, all 6 in Solo.  Which is a long ways away from here.  He's a good missionary.  And Elder Campbell's about the same, but Elder Campbell is considerably bigger, and from one of those Utah cities that all are the same place.
On Saturday, we had a baptism!  We went to go fill up the font, and then it turned out there was no water in the church.  The advice from the branch leaders was to baptize him in the ocean.  So we did.  It was an exciting day.
I know this isn't much, but my time is about up.

It would have been cooler if there had been a sunset or
Mario.  The most golden investigator.
Sometimes we walk through the coolest places.
How much money does it take to keep
2 missionaries alive for 1 month?
